Bioderma Batch Code Format
Bioderma codes are commonly 5 or more characters. The first 3 digits usually indicate the production day of year, and the 4th digit indicates the year tail. Extra trailing characters are usually batch or factory details.
Format: DDDY + optional suffix, sometimes followed by a printed expiry month/year (e.g., 29682, 00399, 29682 10/21)
Examples: 29682, 00399, 29682 10/21, 05661TA
Note: If your packaging also shows an expiry month/year such as 10/21, you can include it after the batch code and the checker will display it separately.
About Bioderma Batch Codes
Bioderma batch codes can often be decoded into an exact production date because the leading digits usually represent a day-of-year sequence plus a year tail. This makes Bioderma one of the more practical skincare brands for date estimation.
Understanding your Bioderma code helps you verify freshness, compare marketplace stock, and better interpret the extra expiry date sometimes printed next to the batch code.
Where to Find Your Bioderma Batch Code
- On the bottle bottom or around the outer edge of the packaging
- Stamped or ink-jetted near the label seam
- Next to a small printed expiry month/year on some products
- Sometimes prefixed by LOT
Look for a short numeric-heavy code such as 29682 or 00399.
